In 1998, Anthony Mittica and Randall Chell established R&A transportation. The offices were set up in Ambridge, PA and Baltimore, MD. With the help of Joe Cowan and his team at Cowan Systems, we hit the ground running.
We began moving containers with two used company trucks and three owner operators. The majority of our business was moving plate glass from PPG Industries in Meadville, PA.
Since then we have steadily grown our customer base along with our trucking partners, most of which are owner operators.
Our intention has always been to serve our customers and drivers as part of a team, all working together to make timely deliveries.
